2011 Bowen Sale Results
The Peake Families 16th Annual “Bowen” on property Bull sale was held on Thursday 21st July, 2011.
It was a record sale for both the Poll Hereford & Angus bulls with a 100% clearance. A solid sale with a 95% of bulls selling to repeat buyers, 1/3 of the offering sold for $5500 or less.
50 Poll Hereford were sold to an average of $7900 with top price lot being $32,000 for lot 2 Bowen Esplanade E332. Purchased by the Remolea Poll Hereford Stud from Clifton in Qld.
32 Angus bulls sold to average $7515 with a the top price being $21,000 for lot 60 Peakes Elton E98. Purchased by the Appledore Pastoral Co. at Barraba.
