This years Bowen Bull Sale was conducted at “Bowen” Barraba on Thursday 16th July 2009.

A large crowd attended this years sale to inspect the offering of rising two year old Poll Hereford & Angus bulls.

This years sale saw great support from repeat buyers with bulls selling locally and interstate.

The 50 Poll Hereford Bulls sold to average $6120, top price Poll Hereford Bull Lot 3. Bowen Chelmsford C154 sold for $18,000 to Hunter Lakes Poll Hereford Stud.

The 22 Angus Bulls sold to Average $4500, top price Angus bull Lot 59. Peakes Carterton C21 $9000 sold to repeat buyer J & L Simpson Edendale Co.
